davix software package provides Toolkit for http based file management, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install davix
davix is installed in your system.
Make ensure the davix package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep davix *
You will get with davix package name, version, architecture and description in a table
